Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson out vs. Maryland: How the Buckeyes replace him

No. 4 Ohio State will be without leading rusher TreVeyon Henderson on Saturday against Maryland.
Henderson, who has rushed for 295 yards and five touchdowns and is averaging 6.7 yards per carry this year, was designated out on Ohio State’s availability report. It did not specify an injury for Henderson, but he is set to miss his first game of the season after injury problems limited him in 2022.
Chip Trayanum has been Ohio State’s backup most of the season and scored the game-winning touchdown against Notre Dame.
