VAR process changed following Liverpool’s disallowed goal vs Tottenham

PGMOL, the body responsible for referees in English football, has changed the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) process following last Saturday’s controversial incident which saw Liverpool incorrectly denied a goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
Luis Diaz saw a goal wrongly ruled out for offside with Darren England and Dan Cook, the VAR and assistant VAR, failing to overrule the on-field decision in what PGMOL would later call a “significant human error”.
