BREAKING: Tinubu’s ministerial nominee Balarabe slumps during screening at Senate

One of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nominees, Abass Lawal Balarabe has slumped while standing at the podium inside the Senate.

Balarabe slumped on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, after his introductory remarks.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio immediately called for a doctor to attend to him.

He also immediately directed that the Senate resolves into an executive session.

He told television cameras the session to immediately stop recording.
