Angels’ Mike Trout undergoing knee surgery for torn meniscus, expected to return this season

Los Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout will be undergoing surgery on his left knee to repair a meniscus tear, according to team general manager Perry Minasian.
The injury is the latest setback in the three-time MVP’s attempts to regain the form from earlier in his career. His 2024 season was off to an up-and-down start before the injury, as he leads MLB with 10 home runs through 29 games but has been slashing 220/.325/.541.
