West Ham activate contract extension for midfielder Pablo Fornals

West Ham United have triggered Pablo Fornals’ one-year contract extension option to keep him at the club until 2025.
The 27-year-old’s deal had been set to expire at the end of the season.
The attacking midfielder has made 194 appearances since joining for £24million from Villarreal in 2019. In 2022-23, Fornals featured heavily in West Ham’s European campaign and scored the winner against AZ Alkmaar in the semi-final of the Europa Conference League.
