The Philadelphia Eagles will be without two of their top defenders when they face the New York Jets on Sunday, as defensive tackle Jalen Carter and cornerback Darius Slay have been ruled out. Here’s what you need to know:

Slay did not practice this week due to a knee injury.
Carter missed practice and appeared on the injury report Thursday with an ankle injury. He did not practice on Friday.
Safety Justin Evans was also ruled out with a knee injury and receiver Quez Watkins won’t play Sunday due to a hamstring injury.
