Former Brighton & Hove Albion striker Gerry Ryan dies aged 68

Former Brighton & Hove Albion striker Gerry Ryan has died at the age of 68.
Ryan joined the club from Derby County in 1978 and went on to make 199 appearances for the club, scoring 39 goals.
Brighton said: “Everyone at Brighton & Hove Albion is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Albion striker, Gerry Ryan at the age of 68.
“Our thoughts are with Gerry’s family and friends at this sad time.”
