Manchester United share price falls as Sir Jim Ratcliffe moves closer to minority stake

Manchester United’s share price slumped by 10 per cent on Monday following Saturday’s news that Sheikh Jassim was withdrawing his bid to buy the Premier League.
The Qatari royal has been one half of a two-horse race for United this year, a contest that started last November when current owners the Glazer family announced a “strategic review” at the club that included the possibility of a sale.
