Roger Goodell gets 3-year extension, will serve as NFL commissioner through 2027

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has agreed to a three-year contract extension, the Compensation Committee announced Wednesday. Here’s what you need to know:

The committee updated the full ownership today that the agreement, which keeps Goodell in place through March of 2027, was reached.
In May, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Colts owner Jim Irsay said an extension was forthcoming.
