Tottenham appoint Aston Villa’s Johan Lange as technical director

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the appointment of Johan Lange as their new technical director.
The Athletic reported last week that Spurs had lined up the Aston Villa sporting director as an effective replacement for Fabio Paratici.
Paratici resigned from his role as Tottenham’s managing director of football after being given a 30-month ban from “any football-related activity” by FIFA that, on appeal, was partially reduced. 
This was due to his involvement in a case regarding the alleged inflation of capital gains from player trading at his former club Juventus.
