Folarin Balogun refused to celebrate after scoring in Monaco’s victory against former club Reims on Saturday.
The 22-year-old forward scored his side’s second in the Ligue 1 fixture at the Stade Auguste-Delaune with a strike from inside the penalty area that Reims goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf could not keep out despite getting a right glove to.
Balogun was congratulated by his teammates but opted not to celebrate, instead raising both his hands up in a show of respect for his former side.
